I came to school and everything seemed normal until I came to second period. Mind you, our school has four eighty minuet periods during the day. As soon as I settled down next to my friends, a teacher comes in and states that we had to get injections. I knew that I was going to happen sometime soon but not yesterday.
I started to head down to meet the needles, with some of my other classmates who also had to get the injections, when the siren sounded for a fire. The whole school, all thousand of us, rushed down to the oval and waited for over an hour on the wet soggy grass only to find out that it was just burnt toast in the boarding house kitchen. Later on that day, we had another fire during fourth period. We ended up once again on the wet grass only to find out half an hour later that the fire bell hadn't been reset and just wen off for no reason.
Yesterday wasn't the best day in the world but it made a huge excuse to bludge class, which everyone took advantage of. I bet everyone in my year is regretting this decision because we will have to make up for all the work we missed after we come back from work experience next week.
The other thing that happened yesterday that was new to me was that I walked home from school but that wasn't as interesting as the rest of my day.
